Dental Veneers: Reviving Hardened Rockers’ Smiles!
The somewhat veteran Ronnie Woods, a long serving member of the Rolling Stones, has after a long time of facing the cameras tight lipped, shown his ‘new’ teeth off, in the shape of some very new and very cool veneers, according to the Daily Mail. He had rarely smiled in front of the cameras in recent years, because he was reportedly ashamed of his teeth; but all that has changed now. The revelation that he had had veneers done even prompted the columnist Liz Jones to provide an in depth history of her own veneers and an analysis of those chosen by others!
Will your insurance pay for veneers? The answer lies in your dental insurance policy. Many only pay for work that was required to keep your teeth healthy and not if the work you have done on your teeth is not medically necessary.
An interesting point that Liz Jones made was that Ronnie Wood has not gone for a Cheryl Cole brilliant, dazzling white look. Instead he has chosen a colour that sets off his teeth well, but is just off white. For someone who is an OAP (even if he almost never acts like one) this off white shade is much more of a natural look and somehow fits in with his face, which to put it kindly certainly has a ‘lived in’ look about it. If he had gone for too white a finish he would simply have looked like he had opted for very flash dentures. Instead his teeth look very natural and very fitting for a man who has been around for some time, but above all, those veneers simply look good!
